KYMCO's Noodoe Navigation announcement also highlighted the relationship between connected navigation and the IONEX electric scooter ecosystem.

According to KYMCO, riders could select an IONEX charging point in the mobile application and have its location transferred to Noodoe Navigation. The concept is a useful example of connected mobility: the vehicle, phone, navigation interface and energy infrastructure are treated as parts of one rider experience.

For a digital publication, this is more than a feature list. It is a historical example of how KYMCO explored the idea of a connected scooter ecosystem before today's connected-mobility vocabulary became commonplace.
